P.S. I added some justification as to why they need to collect credit card information when activating the free charging service. It deals with the overage charge if you go beyond 30 minutes which is only $0.25 a minute much cheaper than normal rates and certainly for a car that can charge at the speed of a Taycan. Also the $0.40 a minute fee if you fail to move your car within 10 minutes of charge complete.
