Imagine my excitement when the porsche connect email landed, personalised with my car details and offer to use above for 3 months (£18 thereafter). Now, I basically knew that my car (4s) probably did not have the base hardware to support this but it did get my hopes up. Logged in and there you have it, sorry your car doesn't support this... pah!

Porsche clearly need better CRM software but be interested to learn if others have had same and gone on with the trial (in the UK)?

I am unsure but presume you needed to have something more than active lane to make it work properly. Will probably need enhanced radar/camera.

Just had a quick look at configurator and suspect it is adaptive cruise control that unlocks it all.

You need to have factory fitted ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) for this FoD feature to be available and work.
