IONITY CHARGERS WITH PORSCHE CARD BRILLIANT

First time use as only had the car for 5 days but these Ionity chargers using a Porsche card are so easy to use /instant connection /verification and WOW so incredible fast all done in 30 mins

Used the one's at Gretna few months ago. Quick, easy and at 30p using the Porsche card, great value !

Thin on the ground indeed but you can use the newly installed 800V devices at your Porsche dealer and use your card. These are 350kW apparently and not 150kW as previously thought.

So that gives you Aberdeen, Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Only wrinkle is access at some locations.

That’s nice that they are 350kW. Glasgow’s are not installed and I didn’t notice any construction so could be a while.

Drove past Polmadie Ionity during the week, looks finished with 6 chargers but still barriers up and no info as to when it will open. A new Starbucks on same site too.

Based on your location I'm assuming these are the chargers at Cobham services which is fairly local to me (I have many meetings there).

Good to know it's only 30p with the card too - I hadn't seen this.

Just need my car now (I'm hoping before Easter!).

Its only 30p for Yr1 remember and the you have to pay a subscription to continue to use.

I think it renews automatically during the first three years of ownership. That at least is included here in France. After 3 years you will need to subscribe to the connect services etc.

Good to know thanks - I haven’t used one of these yet but I’m planning a trip to Cornwall and see that Ionity have chargers on the M5 at Cullompton, towards Exeter.

Another nice feature is the "Plug & Charge" option which removes the need to use the card to activate charging, I can confirm it works at Porsche Centre chargers, but I haven't tried it at an Ionity station yet..

Nice - good to know - I just need to find some chargers where I can use it (not used it in 7 months of ownership nor needed to). Never look a gift horse and all that!
