Please note, this is my first Porsche and I've never dealt with warranty issues with them. When I first got my car about a month ago, I noticed every time I got out of the car the left shoulder bolster felt loose as it made a noise. I brought the car in on Monday for the software update and had them look at the seat and a Bose driver's side speaker that rattled. After 2 days, the service advisor asked if I wanted them to keep the car for another week to fix the seat. She said it would take until the end of the week to take apart the seat cover and then probably a few more days to get the part to fix it. I asked if they could put it back together and then order the part and then put it in, but she said that they couldn't do that.
Is that normal? For a car with 400 miles, I would have expected them to just replace the seat, but I'm guessing my expectations are too high.
