Car has been at dealership for a week now. Was initially brought in to replace the OTA module following connectivity issues (Porsche Connect famous red circle but also no longer able to connect Porsche ID in the car). They proposed to do the "cluster 33" upgrade (which I understand being the famous new upgrade) and requested to bring the car in for "2 to 3 days".
After a few days, I was told that the upgrade had been performed without issues, the OTA module replaced but connectivity issues were still not resolved.
Now a week later, dealership tells me that they decided to replace and order a new "Connect" module (which is going to take another week to get delivered at best).

Now, my simple question: are we really talking about 2 distinct modules or is the dealership BS'ing me to buy some time for one or another issue?

I believe they are separate. Check the forum as this has been discussed by others I’m sure,
