We missed our getting our tax credit for 2021 by a few days. However the EV tax credit is still in effect, but I thought that I would have to wait until next year when I file my 2022 federal tax forms to get it..

But I talked to my CPA and he says I can reduce my estimated tax payments but the amount of the tax credit. You should check with yours.

If you are not doing estimated tax payments your employer should be able to reduce your withholding at your request. Ages ago when I worked in finance we would some times reduce the withholding at the tax payer's request.

Your employer isn't really a tax cop, they just withhold your pay based in the information you give them.

In any case make sure you check with your accountant before pulling the trigger.

If you do this, Keep in mind that if they do get rid of the tax credit you will short by the credit amount and have to pony up at tax time. It’s better than loaning the govt your hard earned money but needs to be accounted for if the tax laws change.

Beyond expectations! I have had zero issues with the car. I look for excuses to drive it every day.

Mine has been solidly good. Only thing is that my CarPlay gets interference at certain traffic lights. My hypothesis is that it’s a wifi signal interfering with the CarPlay Wi-Fi. It happens every time and it sometimes even totally disconnects CarPlay.

Quite awesome! I get a lot of looks/compliments which could be a good or a bad thing….Very enjoyable to drive. Love the sport sound. Just need to get used to the PCM.
I’ve only launched it once. Need to try that more!

One idea is to meet the Porsche Experience Center close to ATL airport. Touring the facility is about $16 and they seem to have a good dining option for lunch or dinner (https://www.porschedriving.com/atlanta/off-the-track/dining)

We could do this on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon when most of us would be available. I am happy to call them and check on reservations... just let me know if you are in!
