Jet Metallic Black PPF finish

As I’m awaiting delivery of my Taycan 4S sedan, I’m also approaching crunch time on making a decision on the full body PPF. I’m between Xpel Fusion Ceramic to maintain the gloss look vs Stealth + Ceramic to go matte. Would appreciate any input from anyone who’s gone with one or the other or anyone who cares to share their opinion. I’ve found myself going back and forth.

IMO, the primary advantage of met black over flat black is making swirl marks and scratches less prominent- but PPF would make that a non-issue. Also, I assume that matt PPF looks better over "pure" flat black than over met black.

Matte black runs the risk of appearing a bit cheap, I would go gloss…

Satin black on a Taycan looks amazing and does stand out a bit more than gloss. Definitely vote for stealth!

Considering that I’ve got the carbon fiber side mirrors and trim, this pic wants me to go matte even though I think it’s over played. Matte it is! Thanks everyone for sharing!

Mine is getting done as we speak. Jet Black Metallic with XPel (no stealth). I did not like the look of Stealth on the Taycan. Stealth looks great on a gray Mercedes though.

I'm getting full car Llumar Valor gloss ppf for $6,250 on my jet black metallic. You can certainly get cheaper, but the install is key...

Depending on how long you’re planning on keeping the car, why not keep it gloss for a couple years, then once the paint starts to get a bit swirled, cover it up with stealth and feel like you have a new car again
