I wanted some form of 'anything but black', preferably blue. I ended up with Gentian Blue, but would've been happy with Frozen Blue and love seeing Neptune Blue on the road. At some point, we all get used to what we have and will look for something new.

I’ve just ordered my new Taycan delivery 2023,
I have a question what’s everyone opinion on the colour options?
I keep changing my mind when I see a taycan drive past me and I’m like.. “I want that colour” haha.
Here is my spec, I’ve got few weeks my SA said if I want to change my mind..

Hi dale welcome to the forum. i ordered a 4S sport Turismo September 2022 with delivery September 2023 but changed it to a GTS sport Turismo now expect delivery sometime 2024.

I have Neptune Blue. Its just unique enough without hurting your eyes. I'll never run the risk of waking up one morning saying "what was I thinking"

Silver is a safe colour and I think suits the car well.

Things I'd question the value of:

1. HUD - spoils the view and repeats much of the information directly in front of you.

2. Sports Chrono - 'expected' option on more expensive models but not really needed. If you stick with it then perhaps replace the clock with a compass.

3. Beige / black - personal choice again but I don't think suits the colour combination.

Consider:

1. Rear Axle Steering - useful at low speed parking manoeuvring

2. Bose

3. Racetex B-Pillars

4. 14 way comfort seats.

5. Black brushed aluminium door tread inserts (free).

6. Comfort opening

Thanks will consider these options, need to speak with Mrs also she told me budget was 100k not 120k 🫣 but I think I can squeeze more…
Bose I wanted but the SA basically said unless I’m willing to wait until end of next year they are not accepting Bose as an option now, due to a certain part, which I’ve seen now a lot of talk about this forum.

There is only one colour and that is Carmine. Of course everyone here will try and convince you to pick Bailey's Cream. At least you won't be unique since that's 75% of Taycans. You also won't find anyone waxing lyrical over silver.

HUD must have. Keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel. Didn't understand the previous post about blocking view. Obviously never seen it in a Taycan.


Sports chrono massive waste of money. A big crap grandfather clock on the dash destroys the the beautiful futuristic aesthetics. Sport mode is fine. No need for SM+.

Pano roof waste of money. The front passengers get no benefit.

With those savings you can get 21" wheels
