Hi all.

Just to say hi and introduce myself.. I’ve had a few Porches and currently have a Panamera Turbo S E-hybrid. I got a call this morning from the dealer that sold me the Panamera to say they have a Turbo available because of a cancelled order. I popped down this afternoon and did the deal. Fingers crossed it was the right move. I love my Panamera..

Im based in Cheshire..

Thanks for that.. I surely will post my thoughts...

one question.. as this wasn’t my order, there is one option that I’m not sure is really needed or not.. the PDCC (I think thats right) wasn’t ticked on the order.. is this an oversight? The dealer said not. Thoughts please anyone.

PDCC - Porsche Dynamic Chassie Control

it's an active roll bar system that keeps the vehicle flatter under heavy cornering loads - it's quite the trick and improved the vehicle's handling during spirited driving (less body roll)

it's not a must have - for the vast majority of daily-driver duty it's a not a big deal, but will make a difference for high speed cornering when you're really pushing the vehicle…

I would not walk away from a build that lacks it, but it is some Porsche Magic for which they deliver value and increase their profitability for those silly enough to care.

that's a good build - the rear Axel Steering (listed on your build) is much more useful for daily driving than PDCC - RAS reduces the turning radius at slow speeds - great for tight turns and parking, makes a big difference - much bigger than you'd notice with PDCC…

there is nothing major missing that I believe you'll regret.

it's even the right color ;)

Here is the spec of the order I took today..

Nice specification, congratulations!

Just make sure you will get the extra free charging cables for the Porsche Charger, ie 7.5 and 2.5 meter connection to the car. Normal 13 amp plug to the power socket plus one free cable like 32 amp commando socket.

Congrats on the new purchase. Do you mind clarifying when you say a deal? Did they give you a discount, as it was already built?
Nope.. I tried..really hard, however, I got a good trade in on the Panamera...

Congrats on short circuiting the waiting time, it's torturous! Looks like a great spec. Look forward to seeing it on the road.
Honestly, I’m probably more surprised than anyone else, it was literally a phone call out of the blue this morning and this afternoon I’d purchased it..

I was looking for a ray of hope that someone could get a discount in the UK! I placed my order for a 4S just yesterday in Cambridge but am already thinking to upgrade it to a Turbo. Unless my wife is reading this, then it's definitely staying as a 4S, honey.
