I'm also moving from a Panamera to Taycan Turbo. I think it's the right move - the Taycan felt more like a 911 then a Panamera to me (even though it weights more then the Panamera).
Congratulations...
It takes some getting use to, but like you, I think its the right move.
I thought I'd miss the v8 engine noise of the Panamera the most, but I don't.
I'm not convinced the Taycans materials used internally are to the same level as the Panamera but I assume they've had to do this to save weight.
Finally, my only really issue I have is I find the maximum lowest setting of the seat to be too high by a very very small amount for me. Id like maybe another 2 to 5 cm drop to be comfortable.

So the plus sides..
Incredible endless, immediate torque.. I will never get bored of it.

This may be controversial , but, Imo it drives better (day to day) than my 991.2 (911). I'm sure in the hands of a pro, the 911 is the preferred car..

It most certainly drives better than the Panamera Turbo s E-hybrid I had, Including rear steering, pvt etc.

I'm sure you will like it, maybe, love it.. I'm currently at the like stage of the relationship, but, it is starting to grow on me...
