I'm not WiFi connected whatsoever but still I can't connect wirelessly.
I recall 2020 cars don't have wireless connection, is that right?
Check the release notes as there may be a MY20 limitation now that you mention it.

But "Ok Google commands" are available through Android Auto though. 😁
Responds to both ;-)

I had an issue after uPdate and whilst Android Auto would connect straight away and I could navigate I could not get satellite imagery nor would requests for "find me the nearest pub". I pinned it down to the PCM WiFi, disconnected it and BOOM everything worked like a charm.

Not tried cable connection as I hate the sight of cables and luckily there is no need for them in my case.

I don't know if this is already mentioned but two things I've noticed since the uPdate:

2022-09-29_15.53.11.jpg

1: The 140/150kph bug is still there (with destination active it's 150, without it's 140).
2. The voltage of the battery is raised, it's 13,5V instead of 13,4V.

Other things I noticed:
3. The work-around to activate the passenger display during driving is gone, hope I can activate this again by VCDS-tool (coming soon).
4. Still hate the colors now that I have seen them irl.
5. Android Auto only works with USB.
Is that supposed to be like that? (MY20).
Already tried to delete existing connection and set up a new connection.
6. I still don't see a homelink button when camera is active.
Is that a setting?

All in all I liked the old UI better.
1. Never seen that.
2. I had 13.5V before uPdate
3. Haven’t tried. But i noticed some other “feature”. Before uPdate, i was able to switch Taycan sign on passengers’ screen with two clicks: change to Range mode and back to Normal. Screen stayed black, without Taycan. When i tried the same after uPdate, Taycan came back when switched to Normal.
4. I;m 50:50 on colours…or maybe 51:49 against them.
5. Don;t know, i’m on Apple.
6. Don’t know, never used/needed homelink.

i liked previous too. I’m missing AWD info on left tube.
And connection to CarPlay is still not stable….but i agree, that’s faster (reconnection and connection when car starts) than before.

finally, after 6 weeks and about 2000km, my consumption is definitelly higher than before uPdate.
It reminds me on first month or two, when i got the car. It’s again closer to 24kwh/100km…while it was 20 before uPdate. Similar as last October….

AWD now replaced with (this is a RWD model, 2 motors shown with AWD) in the central display as per release notes.

Would be nice to also reinstate the AWD in the left tube.

I agree that the old monochrome version of the interface looked more classy than the new multicolored one, but the new system does feel more responsive which is more important, no?

Agree, would be nice. Overall, a good uPdate, though.

Yes, it’s more responsive than before…but i’m dissapointed since my range droped for more than 10%, while most of other members reported higher range than before.
By now, only @W1NGE and I are having lower range then before uPdate.

I didn't notice a difference in response or mine was already better.
I did notice a change after a previous update though but not this time.

I have a (somewhat) lower range too post-uPdate
