Locked myself in on the back seat

I wanted to install a camera at the back of the panorama roof to record my Porsche Advanced Driver Trainer session. Obviously I had to do this from the back seat, and while fiddling with it, the car locked up and there I was, locked in my own car.

It took me a good 10 minutes to discover the trick to be able to open the door again myself.

I had the same, locked myself in the back seat in the show room of the dealer. Had to call the reception desk with my mobile phone and ask the lady at reception to come free me from the car... Not my finest moment... ????

You called a tow truck and had you and the vehicle towed to a dealer where a technician removed a door to let you out.

I know that trick.

Nah, too expensive. Don't forget I am Dutch, we tend to solve issues with the least amount of money out of our own pockets

Touch the lower screen to wake it up, then pop the trunk from there.


If you have a 2021 and the phone with you you can also unlock it from the Connect app. Or maybe just call someone from your household to come and save you.

How about yelling "Porsche" and when the computer asks 'what do you want' you say 'unlock the doors'?
