Lucked into CT 4S.

Went through local dealer trying to secure a 4S build in US. There were only 9 allocations in the country, all sold. No ETA on getting an allocation but likely months. Did a search on Porscheusa.com for inventory. Two 4S CTs popped up in Denver. Reached out to the dealer but they were of course both sold. I pushed a bit harder. I am in NC but was going to be in Denver the following week dropping off my son at CU Boulder. I asked if I could at least stop by and look at one of the CTs. It turned out that the deal on one of the cars (with one of their good customers) was maybe a bit wonky with multiple trade ins and negative equity. So I kept pushing and asking. As I was pulling into Denver the dealer let me know that the deal fell through and I could have it. Closed it the following day. Very well specced vehicle. Race Tex interior, Burmester, Privacy Glass, PTV, PDCC, blackened bits and wheels. Given color scheme may give nickname 'Blue Meanie'.

Here are some pics as it has just been wrapped with window tint and ceramic coating. Going on a truck today to ship it to me back in NC.

I actually tried to drive it home two weeks ago but at first two EA stations in Kansas on got 30kw so I turned around but thats a different story.........

This is my 6th Porsche.

Good for you and way to push the deal through Thx for these pics as some of the best I've seen re lighting on the plastic surround pieces I plan on painting body color (arches/bumpers)! My build Volcano Grey with all these options (and more!!).

Or maybe you'll be brave enough to see about remvoing them entirely?

My money is still on those arches being stuck on top of painted bodywork w/ adhesive...

At risk of being majorly off topic - apologies OP - yes that one is solved (link in my thread on "Sport Turismo") - but another poster in Belgium had the paint job done and indeed the arches are held on only with 3M type tape - the issue however with wanting to remove them entirely is that the arches 'clip' into open recesses in the bumpers and side skirts and you either have to "fill" them in or replace the bumpers/side skirt which would be very expensive and not sure if even replacements available (i.e. do sedan parts fit or not?) - may be addl. issues with sensor placements etc. so for now I'm going with the paint plan as it looked really good on that poster's car.

Few other points tying together other threads.

1. The driver side visor clip was broken before I took possession. Fixed under warranty but of course that was before I took possession.
2. Clear sidemarkers ordered from SunCoast but back ordered by about a week.
3. I always do Coco Mats floor mats in Porsches. cocomats.com. Their Nylon 6.6 mats are indestructible, look really good, and don't show dirt at all.
4. Interested to see how EA infrastructure develops. Had very mixed results at first 5 stations I tried. 3 worked, 2 worked only at 30kw. None got me more than 130kw. With VW ID4s hitting the streets this will have to get better.

Congrats! Do you happen to have the build sheet for this car? Could you look up what the privacy glass option order code was for it? I haven't ordered yet (awaiting allocation) but I was told it's not available in the US for some reason, so perhaps having the option code would help. Thanks in advance!
