Major software update announcement coming July 13th…

mean while my son just received his 5th or 6th software update for his 2022 Tesla Model Y since Dec. 2021 - no dealer visit required…and it continues to add some useful features.

it's just sad watching the legacy automakers wrap their heads around this sort of thing.

I can attested to this... My Tesla received a total of 70 OTA software updates over the last 3 years, averaging once every two weeks.

I got this in Taycan Facebook group, seems to be explaining confusion for ANA6, WNJ8, etc

So, there are three different updates, and each car is only eligible for one-

WNK1 is for 2022 cars already with colored icons.
WNJ8 is for 2022 cars without colored icons but not covered by the ANA6 safety recall.
ANA6 is for 2022 cars (and others) that Porsche has identified as having safety issues.

Only WNK1 is July 22nd that we know of?

WNJ8 is for 2022 cars without colored icons but not covered by the ANA6 safety recall.

No, WNJ8 is to bring 2020+ colour /Android etc up to the same level as recent vehicles

Hope so! Mine has been stuck at the port in RI. I would assume the port PPI center gets the update as soon as dealers, so hoping to see some movement soon.
