Mamba Green and Cherry Red colors are gone

I don't think Frozen Berry, Blue, and Coffee Beige are on the chopping block. They were part of the whole original Taycan color development. As said in this article, they "Created an ice collection, a metallic trio consisting of Frozenblue, Frozenberry and Coffee Beige. "We picked up the pastel world to perfectly convey electrification," says Milošević."

That was 2 years ago and sales of these colours may not have been as per prediction. Different markets different tastes but my guess is that in UK there weren't enough brave folk.

To ditch Mahogany is odd as (apparently) this is the most popular colour choice for any Porsche in China. More marketing hype perhaps.

I would say you're safe, but if you find out differently, please update us because that would affect me also, as my build is a month behind you.

I would say it doesn't look good for you.

My Porsche SA called me this morning after I sent him a text earlier asking about my Mamba Green GTS ST on order. He reassured me that these changes are from MY24 onwards so don't affect my order which has a build week around 12th June. If everything goes to plan, I should have one of the last Mamba Green cars.

Matt Farah got his 718 Spyder in Frozen Berry (after the first one sunk into the ocean) and boy did he get a lot of flak for it online, but I have a feeling it may be one of those Porsache colors where the appreciation for it grows years from now.

Whenever someone tells me Mahogany isn’t the best choice I ask what color is their Taycan. The silence afterwards is loud

I was going to say that the Taycan has a buyer demographic overlap with the Panamera- many people, particularly buying through a business, might feel they should present a more sober/sombre image- but now I think of it, the same could probably said for the vast majority of prestige cars other than the overtly sporty variants. On the other hand, the Taycan (moreso than the Panamera) has sporty pretensions, which suit a more flamboyant, or at least less mainstream, set of colours. In a way I'm glad that the pastels are rarely spotted, makes me feel like I got PTS for free (and seriously, if after I'd set my heart on Frozen Blue it became only available through PTS, I'd have been prepared to stump up for it).

Just been to my local dealer.
A couple of surprises.
First, someone has gone full Mamba but forgot to turn the callipers black!
Is it just me that thinks this is a terrible clash?!

Then as I was leaving a used white GT3 drove past me on the lot.
Porsche Bolton just took in my old 2008 993 GT3 in as part ex!
What’s the chances of that?
Still got the private plate I put on it with Swindon.

It’s for sale. £90000.
I paid £83000 15 years ago.
Drove it out of the showroom just after midnight 1/3/2008.
Sold it when kids arrived 2009 for £83000
Happy memories.

The Mission E wheels really do leave the brakes very naked don’t they, but it is the tinted back windows that I find instantly visually jarring.
I’d pay a modest up charge not to have that perpetrated on mine.
The GT3 looks great, from before 911s got huge

I don't think the yellow calipers go with Mamba Green, but I do think the red calipers look fine. I'm sticking with the standard red ones for my Mamba Green GTS ST.

The fact that you notice that before the jarring yellow callipers shows the strength of your views.
I don’t like it either. My SA always tells me to get it. I never do.
From my experience we are in a minority of 3 with Chris Harris.

I am also in the no privacy glass camp. Having it divides the window area into zones in a way that is very disturbing to me.
