Caught in the “end of ‘21 chip shortage”
Finished production and to Emden 11/12

now has “missed” two ships to Jacksonville. Cape Town Hwy, and Siem Aristotle.

I think your only ray of hope is the FYD seems to be perpetually out of sync with reality. It says that my car is on the Siem Aristotle but that it won't get to the dealer for 49 days, even though the Siem Aristotle is due to dock in Jacksonville on about 11/20.

I see you are not aware of the port jam issues...

Also this is a '21 -- aren't they supposed to be '22s at this point? By the time I bought my '20 in Jan '21 I got over 30k off the MSRP!

I wouldn't put too much faith TYD accuracy. It is very inconsistent.
My car was on Cape Town Highway and TYD didn't update to show the name until the ship was almost to Baltimore.
CTH has docked at Jacksonville and TYD still says 'on vessel' with an estimated delivery date of 1/14/2022. To make it crazier, it shows the ship in the Jacksonville port area and has the distance to dealer as 240 miles.

Give it a few days and it may update to show you are on the Aristotle.

This car was ordered in June. None of the ports on this voyage of the Siem Aristotle are listed as having congestion issues.

East Coast doesn't have near the issues with ports as the West Coast.

It's close to entering the English Channel. It's only been underway for about a half an hour so the dealer probably isn't quite caught up.

Different times.. I helped many get 8%+ off MSRP on 2021's a year ago. Now it's 8% over MSRP (if you're lucky). I know some dealers that unloaded 2020's (esp if they had some test-drive miles) for 20% off at the start of 2021.

For what it is worth, my TYD was pretty accurate (late June order Delivered end Sept; sat in Jax port for 5 weeks due to chip).

I would have your salesman pull their internal system with your vin and see if there are any open campaigns. That will show you if the car can be sold when it arrives. Mine was missing 4 items and one of those was the TPM (tire pressure monitor) that is required for sale and held it in the port for 5 weeks. Still have not gotten the other 3 items resolved, but they are minor.

'I believe the 22's got built starting in the end of August/beginning of Sept so his is a '21.
