Just wanted to share a video I recorded of my first time driving through some fun twisty roads for this long of a time. The route was Highway 9, Bear Creek Road, and Highway 17 in Northern California. Highway 9 in particular was fantastic. Very well paved, nicely banked, and nice scenery.
I climb to ~2500ft in elevation before descending back down. What a fun drive
Not sure how much faster I could have pushed it and still felt safe -- I was in an unfamiliar area and some parts were actually residential. I didn't want to bust around a corner and have a car pulling out of a driveway or something. I was definitely a bit conservative in some parts.
Nonetheless, was a great time. Next time I'm up there, I plan to drive the Skyline route, which I also heard is legendary.
