We drove down to Leeds yesterday with the kids to watch The Hundred cricket at Headingley. I didn't have to charge it as its only a hundred miles back home. But I thought I'd give it a go seen as we were staying overnight. We stopped at the Marriot off Swinegate so parked in Trinity car park. There are around 14 ev chargers in the car park. All 7.5kw ran by Pod Point. Downloaded the app, added £20 top up to the online account before I'd left. So getting started once parked in the EV bay was pretty easy. Plugged in the Located the charger on the app then hey presto all was good. It only needed about a 38% charge to 100%. That cost me £11.35p. Unplugged the following morning and off we went. Nice and easy. We are off to Wales next week so I'll be giving 50kw chargers en route a go. Hopefully my next experiences are as easy.
