My New 2023 HV Battery Has Finally Arrived!

VERY excited to finally take delivery of a brand new 2023 Porsche High Voltage Battery, shipped fresh from Germany. My local dealer was kind enough to package my new battery in a beautiful gentian blue 2020 Taycan Turbo S (pictured below) that was sitting on their lot for months (and is also owned by me). It was a 4 month wait, but highly worth it. I won't write a review of the Taycan, because I've already done that over the past few years of ownership, but this new 2023 model battery is wonderful. Unlike my old battery, it powers the car on and enables it to move around, which is a lovely change. All kidding aside, it's SO nice to have my baby back.

Congrats to getting your car back! Gentian Blue with those slightly darker wheels really looks great. Having the car being able to move around again is a real plus for you!

Seems like a lack of creativity to me. Could have just trailered a gas generator out the back and powered the car that way for 4 months. Or hitched it to a Dually with a Cummins diesel and enjoyed the sound of the "Burmester over the Burble". While some lay around griping and moaning about a battery-less EV, others of us work to find solutions and soldier on. Be the latter.

I was in a Panamara 4 Platinum Edition. Debatable whether that's "comparable" to a TTS. That being said, better than a base Macan or an Enterprise rental like our friends from across the pond.

They did comp fuel though.
