My Porsche app using 10%-15% of my battery daily?

I was having issues with my phone battery for the last couple months where I used to have 30%-40% at the end of the day but now I'm getting down to 10%. I looked into what was using the most battery and the "My Porsche" app is routinely using 2nd or 3rd most of my battery. Unlike the other apps at the top of the list, all the time is going towards background activity, not on-screen activity. I tried to disable the app from using background data but that didn't seem to stop it from consuming battery in the background. Does anyone else notice that the My Porsche app is using a lot of battery on their iPhone?

Have you tried changing location access to "While using the app" instead of "Always"?

My Porsche is <1% of my use.

You don't need to re-install it to see how it is set and can change it anyway.
Settings > My Porsche gives location, Siri and search, Notifications and background refresh options.
I have location set to while using and the others off.

I had already removed it to stop it from consuming my battery

Mine is also gobbling battery in the background. In the settings it claims to need it all of the time for various functions including PCM services. No idea how much functionality you will lose by changing it

had the same issue (see v4 thread) with the pre v4 version and also reported it to porsche by shaking the app. Would recommend you to do the same.
