If you have Google selected when searching for your charger destination, the Taycan won’t precondition the battery for fast charging. You need to enter the DC charger location using Porsche’s built-in search capability.

I discovered this issue when I was trying to figure out why I was experiencing slow charging with a specific charger in my search history. Instead of using the item in history, I re-entered the address and voila… mystery solved. Battery was now being warmed to proper temp and the charging rate was in a much happier place.

Yes, I pick my own route, but utilize in the built-in navigation to get me between charging stops. There is much to be said for keeping SoC low to get the fastest possible charging. Looking forward to what the big PCM update does to this behavior.
