There are no bad colors but there are a few questionable specs out there.

Consider whether or not you are willing to keep up with a black exterior. I wont do it again for a daily driver….there is always something to see/notice on the paint/wheels.

Gentian isn’t bad….its on a lot of Mayans (in addition to Taycans) if that is something that would sway your decision.

Overall, both specs look solid, so its really just a matter of preference. Neither of these are my preference but if I had to choose, I would go with the black and drive myself crazy with maintenance.

Evening,

I need to confirm my final spec in the next 5-7 days.
I've toyed with Carmine but its now eliminated. I then moved to Gentain Blue but was put off by a shabby beaten up Taycan at the airport this morning.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on the following codes:

Nice one. Consider:
Lane change assist/blind spot monitoring
Adaptive cruise control or Innodrive
Power charge port
Front axle lift

For me, the dark blue looks a little too close to the blue you see on acuras. Kinda hides the lines a bit
Maybe I should have added that I’ve ordered my ST GTS in Gentian Blue?!

I just don’t want to see too many others on the road!

Gentian was the most likely alternative to my final choice.
Have you seen the electric blue lettering on it first hand?
I'd extend the RaceTex to the lower B pillars EDIT you've not got it on that Gentian build, just the Black one.

I had many Black cars. Fantastic when clean, but a right pain when a spec of dust appeared. I won't even mention the swirl marks which will be very visible in sunlight. I never learned though.
Go with what you like. There is no wrong choice.
Options to consider.... pre wiring for dash cam is a no cost option(I'm kicking myself for forgetting to tick the box on mine). Also the prep for the bike carrier is a relatively cheap option for future proofing your ST. You have added lower race tex, which is nice but will be very prone to wear(probably on the passenger side). Check with dealer on cost to replace if wear bothers you.

Agree with the comments, LCA, ACC I'm also going for Innodrive and PIRM. I also have the 360 cameras.

Get the cycle prep for resale value.

Also Electric folding mirrors, puncture kit and locking wheel nuts.

Personally I don't think the race tex b pillars are necessarily a good idea and the plastic is surely tougher. I've also heard it can cause delays in production.

I also think the tinted rear windows are too dark and spoil the lines as do the roof rails. Just my opinion. I will have my side windows tinted the same shade. I only carry bikes so with the money I'm saving I can put it too the extortionate Porsche bike rack.

On colour, they are all nice and it's a personal thing but I currently have a black X5 and its a pain to keep clean. It even gets dirty parked up going nowhere. So for me I discounted all the dark colours and Gentian Blue is lovely but very dark.

I did, saw it on one at the weekend which I did like. Car was Gentain with ice blue lettering at the rear and front headlights.
