The iOS App Store lists a new update of the “My Porsche” app (v6.0) this afternoon. Best to wait before updating - I grabbed it and it seems that the back-end systems aren’t updated for it yet. (I keep getting “Something went wrong: Function is currently not available.” messages from it.)

[UPDATE: App is working now.]

I have just updated all of the apps on my iPad and as you say, it doesn’t work. Will try to remember not to update the ones on my phone!

Oh, and apparently it will tell you the oil level on the car… Even my wife spotted the issue with this!
True - but I’m pretty sure the app is made to work with all the current Porsche models, not just Taycan. (The old app worked with the 718 Boxster I had before getting the Taycan)

And it looks like the back-end issues are solved - the new 6.0 app is working now.

Indeed it is now working. What a difference 15 minutes makes! I can’t find my oil level though ☹

I haven’t noticed a difference. I do see something weird in that it shows different values for tire pressure overages for the rear tires despite showing them as having equal pressure. What gives?

I have noticed that occasionally even on the dash screen in the car showing the tire pressures. That said, I am not sure what causes it to show like that. I thought maybe it was something with sun or shade on tires, but that should not do show this way.

I just updated my app to 6.0 and my Taycan is still not showing as built. Some update this is 😅

I wonder when the Taycan I have been driving since June will be produced?

If the app still thinks your car is not built yet, does that mean your porsche app is useless and isn’t even connected to your taycan yet?? and also for initiating charging at EA startions?

My car has always showed that anomoly on the app sporadically (never checked on the car).
Same pressure on L/R wheels on axle but different +/-

I always thought it was a bit strange and just ignore it if its only a small difference.

Is this a differential showing how much over recommended pressure, or just how much it has risen over the trip time shown just below?

Afaik, it shows the difference with recimmended pressure.

Then clearly the recommended pressures on the back wheels, at least as entered/retrieved by the app, are different. Is Taycan not perfectly balanced on the back end? Or are the recommended pressures accounting for the weight of the driver? ;)
