NEW CAR DAY: 2023 ICE GRAY GTS with Full XPEL 10 PPF wrap and window tint

My 2022 jet black metallic Taycan Turbo was totaled by someone running a red light on March 1. The car also saved my life.

We just got our 2023 Carerra White GTS a few weeks ago. The dealership was so helpful with letting us hold this one while we finalized some details with the insurance. We are just as in love with it as our Turbo. Definitely couldn’t get another black car though!

I’m waiting on insurance to finalize a few final details and then will give a final update to my original post from early March on how the entire process went with the insurance.

Dealing with insurance is never great. I hope it wasn't your fault and you have witnesses, or better yet, dashcam footage to prove it. What kind of brakes are on this Turbo?

Picked up the new '23 ICE GRAY GTS with Full XPEL 10 PPF wrap and window tint...this replaces my '22 CHALK GTS that was totaled in October.

Trading in a very sad and scary day for a very happy one.

I guess an interesting question would be, what did you change, besides the color and tint? What options did you skip, which ones did you add?

It hasn’t been great. Police report is on file with the other driver receiving a citation, and there was a witness who saw our light green. However, the driver is not listed on the policy and took 3 weeks to give a statement. Now the policy holder is attempting to get video footage from a nearby bank which is dragging out the process. Unfortunately, no dash cam but we have one being delivered this week to install on our GTS.
We got the standard steel brakes (16.4 inches up front and 14.4 inches at the rear) and had them painted red.

Thanks for sharing pics of the tint! I got my ice grey 4s on Monday as well and will get it tinted today. Going to go with 20% just like you to match the gloss black trim. Did you tint the windshield? What did you go with if you did?

Little rain today so just ran out for a few snaps in the garage.

Garage lighting is throwing off the color a little.

What’s with the stuff on the floor of your garage? Not seen that before.

I believe that is a mat that catches melting snow in the winter to catch the liquid and allow easier cleanup

Added Carbon Fiber Side Mirrors...changed interior from Olea Brown to Olea Black...picked up passenger display with the '22 to '23 change.

I had most of the bells and whistles and kept them...TECH PACKAGE, RAS, Etc...

Lol...containment mats...I'm a cleanliness nut.

keeps dirt, grime, mud, off the floor....i just slide the mats out when they are dirty and hose them off...for my ICE cars it keeps any spills from the engines off the floor...they work well.
