This is very nice but I charge at Ionity station (16 loading spaces) and also there my car was loading with a speed of 270kWh. And I also got very good coffie and snacks. I would like to see that all sationes will be opened for all EV-cars...

^ Exactly my thoughts! (Although I didn't know about the corkscrew -- is that real?)

For CCS1 DCFC, we're always hearing about ... even faster speeds ... nice amenities ... plug & charge, etc.
How about just a location with at least six chargers actually running at a min of 150kW?
The number of such locations from DC up through NYC and then further north up through I-87, I-91, I-93, and I-95 is ... low.
Try a run from Phoenix to Albuquerque to experience LOW. Nothing like charging at one of 4 stations (2 working) at the WalMart in Gallup NM to make you appreciate how lucky you are.

That station did me right last summer, but I did have to switch chargers at least once leading to extra "overhead."

ABQ was hot garbage though, all the chargers were under-rated.
I tried two different units before giving up.

I agree on ABQ, Derek. And yes, Gallup worked. Just a bit bleak. Did you happen to also hit the lovely oasis in Wagon Mound, NM?

No, my NM stops were:

- Tucumcari
- Santa Rosa
- ABQ
- Grants
- Gallup

I was optimizing for "more stops" as I wanted plenty of overhead if I hit a charger problem.

A location with at least SIX chargers?
A 50% increase in charging stations per site?
Actually running at least 150kw?
In NE USA?

Hahahaha. You are a dreamer.
Better to keep your eyes on "the Porsche Charging Station" laser pointer.

A Porsche charging lounge like this would be a dream here in Sydney. I'm going to keep dreaming and hope by 2039 we have one.

Hey, don't rain on my fantasy parade!
In all seriousness, the frustration at the lack of such stations is that a few actually do exist here, even more EA.
I've been planning an Amherst MA <> Milton DE trip and filtering by those criteria and EA has some.
Okay, not all of the 6 or 8 chargers are those sites are actually running at least 150 kW, or perhaps even running at all.
I visited one in CT last month, somewhat by mistake: I thought the 8x CCS plugs + 1x CHAdeMO was a typo on PlugShare, and that the station was the usual 4 chargers with 7 CCS plugs, three of which are pointlessly redundant (unless EA is just planning for its plugs/cables to fail, which perhaps EA is).
But indeed it was eight chargers, one of which had both a CCS plus and a CHAdeMO plug.
The station was busy, but from a probabilistic perspective, far less likely to get skunked with a long wait.

Reminds me of when I was continuing my competitive tennis after college and trying to find public courts in DC and Boston. Those small parks with just one or two courts were tempting, but we could get skunked by just two parties ahead of us. By contrast, far larger layouts attracting more people but we were pretty much assured an open court after only a modest wait.

Those small parks with just one or two courts had the excuse of space limitations.
But why does EA seems to prefer two 4x charger stations in relatively close proximity to each other instead of a single 8x charger station?
It's not like a Walmart parking lot is short on space!
I haven't read the investment plans and quarterly reports carefully enough on this one, but I wonder if EA somehow likes to emphasis not just its total number of chargers but also its total number of stations?

I for one would love something like this in the US along the key interstate corridors. Road trips would be far more enjoyable.

I was gifted the same corkscrew from Porsche and is real.

At least Porsche realized their own DC charger meet the customers requirements. Why then are they still selling PMC+/PMCC in NA? Are American customers not as demanding as German customers when it comes to reliability?

PS>I couldn't help but notice the locals don't drive sedans, only the press cars.

I think the Charging Lounge is a good idea, so long as it remains exclusive to Porsche. I cannot see the point if it’s opened up to everyone as Audi have done.

I look forward to the customisable coffee, with an options list.. extra cost cup, extra cost water, extra to have it warm..It’s Porsche, what did you expect? 😂

You forgot that in order to get this coffee, you will have to find a dealer to sell you a coffee allocation first.
