Is there a recall site for Europe to check?

This site says I have zero recalls, though.

What if my car isn't recalled now? Could it be recalled later?

My 4S is arriving in Baltimore in two days. The Porsche site doesn't acknowledge the VIN yet, but a free site https://www.vehiclehistory.com/ does and it shows all Porsche 2021 Taycan, 911 and 718 models have this issue:

"Certain suspension components may not have been tightened correctly and can loosen.

Consequence:
Loose suspension components may detach, causing a sudden loss of vehicle stability and control, and increasing the risk of a crash."

Should be a quick fix

Well this is bad news.

https://www.autoblog.com/buy/2021-Porsche-Taycan/recalls/

I have a car on a boat to me for delivery next week. I am not able to look it up on Porsche's recall site because the VIN isn't punched yet.

Can anyone with a recent delivery check their VIN against the official recall site?

Here is the NHSTA WEB address for the 2021 4S:

https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2021/PORSCHE/TAYCAN%25204S/4%2520DR/AWD#recalls

There is also an app you can get that will alert you if a recall has been issued. My 2021 is supposed to be delivered late this month.

The latest recall is dated May 17 and concerns a defectively forged trailing arm. Porsche is supposed to notify owners of this recall by July 17.

This same website provides a summary of communications between the mfg and the NHTSA. There have ber 70 of them on various issues to date. I don’t know whether this number is high or not for a new model. But the summaries of conversations with the mfg may be useful if you are having a problem in the area discussed.

I flew a high performance aircraft as a private pilot for about 20 years, being based a National airport in Washington (DCA). These notices and conversations remind me a little of the service bulletins and airworthiness directives that would emerge periodically. They would require a trip to your mechanic, and then off you go! We are lucky to have this government resource monitoring the fleet. It provides additional safety for all. This forum also serves a similar purpose.

I do not believe that you are quite right saying ALL taycans have this issue, there is a set of cars that have been identified as having this fault. not ALL
the site that you are depending on for the info appears to be in error.
