I'm seeing various reports on the range with the new software upgrade. I say one that said the GTS 2023 was up around 323. I'm waiting on a GTS 2022 (how are there 2023 when 2022s are still stuck at port???). Will I get that new software and the increased range?

Feel free to point me to an existing thread if this has already been discussed.

Thanks!

I have a 22 gts st and highest range so far has been 283 ( on 21” spyder wheels). On 20” would be around 300 I would think

Thanks. I'm getting 20" as I live in San Francisco, and a little narrower is better for the bad roads. 300 is good. My Tesla friends rarely get 300.

With the big software update, there is no notable range improvement for the MY2022 cars which already had the range mode optimizations. 2020/2021 will see an improvement.

2022 cars already did substantially outperform the EPA ratings by 15% or more.

Ahh -- so the "New Software" for '23 is really just the software delivered with the car. Waiting is painful -- I can't believe people are getting '23's and my '22 is sitting, waiting for transport to Emden. 91 days till I get it.

Interestingly mine is surprisingly high. The best I ever had on my MY21 RWD was about 240

When folk report 'range' it is helpful to be a bit more specific - my '22 CT with 21" wheels is currently maxing out at ca 288 mile range BUT only if I put it in Range mode and turn the AC either off or in max ECO mode!

With AC on and in Normal mode I am getting closer to 270 - which BTW is a HUGE increase from the first few months of ownership when I was getting 40-50 miles less range.

And 'range' here is just "predicted" range which in part calculates off your most recent car setup and driving style - actual range will depend on these and a host of other 'environmental' factors.

My car goes in for ANA6 in a couple of weeks but like others have said I have pretty low expectations re any substantial change to my range - if it happens I will be very pleased indeed :)

21 4S on 21" Mission E PB+ with the new uPdate. Just finished my first 300 mile road trip. I was able to drive 270 miles in range mode 85mph with eco ac. Highest I've seen the guessometer with range and no AC was 298 miles. Most of the time I'm sitting around 260-270 miles.

Who has had ‘23s delivered? They started production maybe two weeks ago?

For ‘21 CT4 with 20” aero and uPdate

Mix of city and suburbs: 240-280

For highway driving, here’s my estimates for range by mph:
- 220-240 @ 85mph
- 250-260 @ 80mph
- 280-300+ @ 70 mph

MY23 car production started in July 2022. Porsche always changes the model year at this time.

All cars will receive the uPdate software which brings them all to MY23 spec (more or less). Part of this is the potential for range enhancement.

I have a MY21 with the uPdate applied this week. My reported range has dropped 35 miles or so but will return to what it was (and hopefully higher) once the software has re-learned.

What is your reported average consumption (Total Trip) in mi / kWh?
