In the US tho? I see you have a UK icon. I could be wrong but I had been avoiding any GTS previously because bike rack prep is a must have for me.
I don't think there was ever a regional restriction as that would make no semse.

GTS fits nicely into the performance gap between 4S and Turbo. Feels like it is out earlier than normal cycle, sign of the times to try and boost sales. Like the GT wheel option.

The GTS is the one for me... Hence why I got mine. But I just cant fathom how they are so expensive.

We all know that if you bought a £140k GTS brand new and paid list you would lose at least £40 - £50k the day you picked it up. Cash buyers screwed; pcp buyers upside down. I just don't see how these will sell?

I bought a J1 GTS with 350miles on it for half the price of a new one. Literally half the price! Its crazy!

Yes. It is a bummer for me , I was looking forward to something between 4S and Turbo with Turbo look or something closer to J1 front end flow.. it isn’t that I don’t like it, but won’t be rushing out to buy it.
Agree - really disappointing that they decided to use the base/4 front instead of the turbos. It look to plain/normal compared to turbo/turbo s. Was hoping for a “mini turbo GT” in terms of look… it got the Turbo GT steering wheel as an option though…

I'm glad they used the base facia, don't like the shovels on the Turbos.
GTS includes the Turbo S SportDesign Package in High Gloss Black instead of CF.

Noticed that if one wants deviated stitching, but doesn't like the color seat belts and change from Interior Trim in Black Brushed Aluminum to CF, etc. of the GTS Interior Package in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo, there's a separate Deviated Stitching Interior Package i.c.w. Race-Tex Interiors.
This also adds deviated stitching to the optional GT Sport Steering Wheel in Race-Tex including Two Mode Switches and Paddles.

My current 2023 GTS ST cost ~$190K new (it came pretty loaded), while I paid ~$125K used (1 prior owner, 1,5 years, 13.7K miles, 96% SoH); a similarly configured new 2025 GTS ST (some options skipped, some options added) will cost ~$213K (https://porsche-code.com/PS7SAKH8), so as usual Porsche has hiked up the price a bit. Unlike e.g. the Cayman GTS 4.0 (I had mine for three years and sold it this summer for what I paid for it new!), the Taycans drop so much in value during the first year or two so I think I will probably keep my current GTS (with a Redshift tune on it :–) and then switch to a used J1.2 GTS in a couple of years instead...

At least for all incoming to the U.S. for the new GTS model, a heated steering wheel is standard equipment, e.g. as shown on screen print below which is identical and comes on both the GTS sedan and the GTS Sport Turismo “standard equipment” spec sheets.

I think the ploy now is to wait until there are stock cars (Q1'25) and then to swoop in for the discounts.

Tactic seems to be to effectively make up a sticker price in the full knowledge that the sale price will be at least 10% below if the physical vehicle is at a dealership and then 40% more on top after 7 - 9 months.

Artificial pricing due to front loading of 3yrs depreciation seems to be the Taycan model (I expect the Macan EV to be similar post year 1 excitement). Presumably if Porsche were more transparent the pricing of most new Taycan's could be below £100,000 given the criminal depreciation in year 1 (40%+).

It is a tragedy that the J1 batteries can't be swapped for J2s - range is king and that is all the J1.2 is offering in terms of a reason to upgrade / replace.

To Porsche: "Despite what you might think and have got away with for too long, we aren't MUGS!!. It is of no surprise that your sales of EVs are in the doldrums and will continue to remain so. Aside from that you have singularly disrupted your own EV market, tarnished the brand and customer base for what was once an aspirational product and for many is now not so much.

Stop the discounting, stablise your EV market and give the customer a stable and reliable product for a reasonable price."
