Visited Porsche Krakow today and saw/touched/caressed the new 2015 Taycan for the first time. Gotta say, I’m not so impressed with the physical changes. The mission e wheels now suck… that side wall is way too big. The front has lost its exoticness what new sharp angles. The rear fake vents are tacky. And the price is over the top. Maybe it’s the color, but it doesn’t feel that it’s special.

This makes me very glad that I specced glossy black and carbon fibre over turbonite. I really don't get this new colour. Even worse that they barely have any samples available.

Did your car see you?

Like, more than $20?

Eww.

Eww x 2. I guess one can drill through, and pretend they're functional? Justryna help.
It doesn’t appear that my car caught me looking at the younger one, but there are cameras all around so I’m a bit concerned what may be posted on social media. Will also need to unpair my phone and change password to avoid any unpleasant/awkward situations that may affect our intimate relationship.

Yes, this Turbo S is slightly above my ongoing $20 cash buy out offer. Something around $270k usd sticker. But should be in my price range within a few months after driving off the lot.

About the Turbonite trims… surprising to see it around the window trim. That color on black is not necessarily that bad, but I see it clashing with others. I don’t particularly like it, and it’s a shame it’s forced on you (badges).

This model was odd in particular because of the stitching… black on black leather inside except for a small section in the center console area that had contrast stitching.

Here are a few more pics!

And notice the PCCB calipers… because of the large side walls on the new mission e wheels, they are partially covered at all times, making them look smaller than they actually are. It looses its visual appeal.

Looks like the front number plate holder isn’t body coloured paint either. Current generation it’s body coloured on GTS trim and above (otherwise plain black plastic). I may be wrong, as it’s all black anyway, but doesn’t look painted.

Hopefully the turbonite is more subtle than this. Looks like Porsche have copied Seat.

Black on black with black wheels and black plastic? With a white car in the background? Wow, this dealership sure knows how to generate window shopping excitement.
