Massively excited to be taking delivery of my new Taycan on Tuesday having learned from my dealer that PDI completed yesterday.

Had been planning to take the vehicle to James Walker’s NVN London for full PPF but the worsening COVID situation here in the UK makes that unviable.

Can anyone recommend a good PPF detailer here in NW England who specialises in Xpel films and with whom a good experience has been enjoyed?

To add, are owners with the full panoramic roof exploring protective film for it? I’ve seen posts online of people attaching protective films to windscreens, but little on full panoramic glass rooves. Yet, I can imagine the cost and complexity of replacing a damaged / stone chipped roof to be astronomical.

Pride and Performance in Leyland is an exceptional detailer, they work with Wraps and Tints (also in Leyland) to offer the complete service, better to have a 20 year time severed detailer do the prep, wrap professionals do the PPF then detailer ceramic coat it, just my opinion though. Worth a chat with Nick at P&P, he’ll sort you out in the NW for sure.

There is an Xpel installer in the North West just outside Blackpool called MDTweaks. I believe he has done 2 or 3 Taycans already. Message me if you want contact details.
