So the next boat to the East coast after 10/11 is 10/25. Maybe that's the one that others will be on.

That's right, I keep overlooking it thinking Davisville is the only port in the Northeast US.

Just called me dealer. They said they have another Taycan completed production 07/26 and is also still sitting in Emden waiting for delivery. Says my car and this one likely will be in same boat. This makes me think it’s a 12v battery issue rather than shipping delays. Especially if jld1 car gets on boat next week…

I think it’s unlikely jld1’s on vessel date will hold, but if it does, it would be confirmation that batteries are being put in new builds after X date while previously built vehicles are still waiting.

I have no clue which month-thread to choose for tracking delivery of my order.

Production is claimed at the moment to be 30th Sept

...... but that is likely to slip a week or 2 - and after that then add
+8 weeks for a battery wait,
+2 weeks for a boat -
+1 week shipping
+2 weeks for customs clearance into UK (thanks Brexit)
+2 weeks delivery to dealer
+ 2 weeks PDI including software fixes -
take away the number you first thought of........

.........and the answer is Twelfty!

UPDATE:- (Note: I am in UK)

- ordered Oct '21
-1st slot offered was July - turned it down - too soon
- Order freeze mid May
- Order acknowledged at end May
- Received 'scheduled for production' notification received 8th July
- Was told the car would be production complete 30th Sept In late August
- As of this week - production complete now supposedly 14th October;
- Official delivery at the moment is 28th October; but my OPC reckons this will slip by at least 1 week - realistically more....
- So earliest hand-over-of-keys around 9-14th November

Time will tell.

I, too, have an on-vessel date of 10/14 (Baltimore) and mine is en-route to Emden as of today (10/5 milestone date).

My ‘23 GTS build was completed on 12Sep. Had a previous on-vessel date of 14Oct, but that has now slipped to 4Nov. My car will be heading into Port of Baltimore. We’ll see what happens

I agree with Minstril that jld1 will be a good test case of how they're installing batteries, if it's FIFO, or if it's something else

Kermit (MY23), which is in a Felicity Ace rebuild slot, now will get to sit for another month.

What was a 11/18 delivery is now a 12/9 delivery. Porsche I'd just playing with my emotions at this point.

Yes, it means actual but don't get too excited. My car has been in transit to Emden since 7/8 (actual). Arrival Emden Port is estimated 7/15 and On vessel is estimated 11/04.

Likewise, my car has been in transit to Emden since 7/20 (actual). Arrival Emden Port (estimated) 7/22 and on vessel (estimated) 11/04.

It means production is finished but we have no idea if it has a 12V battery or not.
It can be a few days or a few months to reach the next milestone... Depending on how the 12V battery situation plays out
