This is interesting though, curious to see if Porsche steps away from two speed;

Unlike the Taycan, the Macan Electric will have a single-speed transmission instead of a two-speed automatic.

I did not find a single new information in this article, but at least one big wrong: the battery cannot consist of only 12 cells, I hope that is obvious to most readers.

12 modules maybe – each with X number of cells?

No info on the PCM – and exactly what OS it will be based on – is if confirmed it will be the new (and delayed) vw.OS ? If so, I hope it won't result in Taycan's current OS getting a bit abandoned as I assume that newer Taycan's will eventually move over to it.

Taycan's current OS is shared across the Porsche lineup. And Porsche always continues to move on....

Try driving a PCM 3.0 in a 997 and let me know if you feel abandoned! LOL.

An electric Macan will be huge for Porsche. However, big old fat guys like me have no use for a Macan.

Give me a fully electric Cayenne that will have near 300 mile range and leverage the charging capabilities being tested in the Macan, and then I am listening. I was kind of impressed with the details released last week on the updated '23 Audi Q8 e-tron, but it still looks like a suburban family hauler, and I am well past that stage in life.

As much as I love my CT4s, I would exchange it for a loaded electric Cayenne.

Yeah, that user name stems from my love of old westerns and Blazing Saddles.

I have now hit the mid-50's stage of life where the smallest of organs are refusing to cooperate. I am looking at you prostate!!!
