Olea Meranti Brown

Has anyone considered Olea leather Meranti brown? I have been settling on a configuration with that leather based on the configurator pictures / color, though I had a chance to see it in reality. Much lighter than the configurator would imply. Any thoughts? Left is my camera shot. Right is from configurator.

You sure you didn't look at Atacama beige instead? I've seen that in person and it looks like your photo on the left.

I didn't check out the sticker but the dealer led me to the car specifically to highlight Meranti. I trust he knew what he was he talking about especially since it was a model on order w/ Meranti and he had been tracking it.

That looks how I'd expect it to look - taupe as opposed to beige like your photo. Could be your camera settings/lighting though.

I was there yesterday to see the Neptune Blue in person (which I loved) and I was very pleasantly surprised by the Olea leather color combo.
I do like the smell of the standard leather better.
It's a different texture, but i think the leather behind the seat is a must.

I would say do it

Good pics. Still, much lighter than the configurator shows. Now opting for the Basalt Black leather.

It's definitely light. To me it looks like the configurator pictures, but you can't go wrong with the Olea leather.

What are your thoughts on the Neodyme accents?

With the darker leathers I really like the neodyme. Breaks things up nicely. I did spec with the Basalt Black. For the lighter leathers I would go with the dark accent.

Just wanted to revisit this to see if anyone else has gotten Meranti Brown and has opinions on it.

The limited photos I have found, it sometimes seems dark brown and rich, to almost light and beige.

I wonder how this would look with the Gentian Blue?

If one were to select this option, I don't think I am a huge fan of the neodyme, so not sure if dark silver accent would look better.

This may be my yolo option I select if I am in a "what the hell" type of mood at decision time. I am between this and the limestone beige in standard. Lots of $$ but some of the photos make this Meranti look really gorgeous and a potential standout option.
