3. Small gym bag or my work bag

Take out food to avoid the smell in cabin and cases of wine to avoid tip over

For nothing.
i haven’t opened it since day 1.
I’m determined to find use for it. When I sold my I-Pace there were 3 year old animal crackers in the frunk.

I used the frunk to take a roll of kitchen towels, a squeegee, window cleaner, and my set of Porsche tools (I knew because of Murphy’s law, if I took it along, I would not need it), during my extended roadtrip. Other than that, only to take a small soft bag along on a trip where my trunk was full already. Traveling light with my wife is an illusion !

I'm guessing you've never owned a 911 or Cayman. 🤔
Show me anywhere where Porsche calls it a frunk. I have owned Porsches since 1984 and have never heard it called a frunk until Elon came around. It’s a trunk. And a trunk has a trunk lid as shown.

I didn't know that.

I always assumed it was originally a 911 thing and Tesla owners then started using it.

:CWL: You think Elon coined the word frunk? Porsche owners have been calling it a frunk since the first 356 rolled off the assembly line in 1948.

Honestly, one of the few disappointments with my Taycan is how small the frunk is in this car. It's much smaller than my GT4, and pretty unusable for much of anything.

Unfortunately everyone else here is correct, Porsche 911 (and subsequently the Caymans) have had a front trunk storage for DECADES before Tesla even existed and owners have been using the term 'frunk' since the 1960s.

You're welcome for the history lesson 😂

Yes it sucks the frunk is smaller but understandable since, unlike the Cayman or 911, most Taycans actually have a combo motor/transmission unit in the front and all that associated hardware is going to take away room for a more sizable frunk space.

Must be a regional thing. I along with every Porsche, VW and Fiat 850 owner have always called it a trunk and always will, just like Porsche and god intended.

There were definitely people who called them frunks in Rennlist forums for both Porsches and (amazingly) Toyota MR2s.
