does anyone know when Porsche no longer lets you make changes to the spec. Am expecting the car mid December.

Your dealer should be able to give you your V250 date, which is the date the order is fixed. You should just ask for a screen cap of the whole thing to get all the dates. (If you do, be aware that dates can change a lot)

As above, but it’s usually 4 -6 weeks before build when lockdown occurs. Your dealer may warn you of delays if you change but usually if the option is nothing too bespoke then the change will be ok

For me personally the passenger screen was my biggest waste of a grand on my TT. I spent a grand at the Halloween expo on a frozen Han Solo in carbonate and that was a much better way to spend a grand

They're probably just moving your build to an entirely different build slot.

I think for sure that Bose is worth doing. I like the Passenger Display a lot, but it might be worth less weight in my decision than the Bose would be.

Just noted you are maybe local to me. I find that strange that it pushes the date so much. I guess we use the same dealer.....

If your current ETA is before the new year then stick to it. Depending on the Brexit deal you could end up paying Porsche’s 10% import fees

I ordered mine beginning of September, build date end of September and delivery end of October. I live in Sweden btw if that matters.

Count yourself lucky. I ordered mine (firmly, with deposit paid etc.) in the first week of June and latest projection is that I can pick it up from the dealer in the first week of November. And apparently it will still be a model year 2020...

That’s messed up. Mine is a 2021.

Same. Ordered a 21 model year last week, delivery is scheduled for between 20-23 October.

Yes that is the delivery date. We have ordered the car through a company called tusker and through my wife’s work to get the tax benefit.
my wife is also amazing as she has just told me that she ordered the Bose 5 weeks ago, she was trying to keep it a surprise but I wouldn’t stop going on about it. So the wait till April was a lie.
