Yeah. He steamed his way through Germany which has fantastic infrastructure. Taycan performed very well, new software manages thermals much better. Route planning was very good during the trip. Not much else really.

I enjoy these long videos… particularly when they’re just playing in the background while I’m multitasking.

Taycan has great route planning and battery preconditioning when the destination is a charging station.

Battery management system (BMS) and thermal management appears to be among the best out there today (in contrast to Kyle’s most recent Rivian R1T video) - e.g., full charging speed even at 55C / 131F. Great cooling across the battery, especially when put in Sports Plusas mentioned previously.

Kyle’s point was charging capability (and supporting infrastructure) is more important than range. The Taycan paired with a fully functioning public charging infrastructure is an incredible EV generally and especially for road-tripping.

P.S. Driving on the autobahn… option the ceramic breaks.
