Paint chipping/flaking on all 4 wheel centre caps

Hi everyone!
So last time when I had the chance to take my taycan for the wash, I noticed paint peeling off around the centre cap where the emblem is. To my surprise, it is visible in all 4 wheels to varied extent. Mind bearing this is 4S delivered new in July 2025. The car has never gone through machine wash. Always manual hand wash, yes I have used pressure washer but not mindlessly. For Brake dust, I used once Sonax while chemical guys wheel cleaner other time. I personally don’t think either of them are the culprits nor pressure washer. When I try internet, it comes across this could be factory finish problem of improper paint adhesion. What are your thoughts, any similar experiences? does it fall under warranty claim?

This to me looks like someone is trying to remove them with a tool. The center caps made out of a different material (plastic) but they are resilient to withstand all kinds of things. I would claim warranty or buy a replacement as these cost around $200 per full set in the US.

I am based in Korea and someone trying to pull them off is highly unlikely but cannot be 100% sure. I will try to claim warranty, initial reaction from the dealer wasn’t encouraging but didn’t give a clear No either.

To remove recent center caps, you need a special Porsche tool. However, these suction cups worked well for me to get them out without damaging the edges:

It is clearly a paint issue on the center cap hub. The wheel looks good. Very easy for the dealer to fix. Replacing them. Easy!
