Passenger display and apple music

Hi everyone.
For those of you who have the passenger display, does it show apple music playlists, apple maps, iphone call details etc? And does it also show song lyrics, or is this illegal to show in the front of a car? Any information/photos/videos would be great, thanks.

You can't beam CarPlay onto the passenger display. Only central display. In my case the passenger's shows Apple Music playlist (under media), no maps, no CarPlay calls (don't remember if on passenger's it shows active phone call details in the 3 squares PCM view)

ps. you can trick the passenger's display to stay on even if the seat is empty

No CarPlay on the passenger screen. If that is what you use for maps vs. the factory map/nav then that won’t work on passenger screen. Apple Music and playlists work on passenger screen but again not through CarPlay; only through the integrated Apple Music service in the Media app on the PCM once logged in with your Apple Music credentials. When playing music through the integrated Apple Music app in the PCM, lyrics can be displayed and scrolled through on both the main screen and passenger screen but only when stationary (on both screens). Once moving the lyrics stop on both screens and a note says they will not be displayed while driving (just like video).

if you look at the latest reviews for the EQE (e.g. Autogefuhl) Mercedes allows for videos to play on the passenger screen in certain states/countries. Hopefully Porsche has similar plans up its sleeves...
