This afternoon I'll pick up the car and then we'll see...

I'm pretty sure you won't get the latest MY22 PCM update with Android Auto, 5 quick access icons etc on your MY21. This firmware is currently only for MY22 cars.

So I have a 4S at the dealers bought it off the showroom floor but not in possession yet as need to wait for them to replace it, should still be this side of Christmas. Its a 2021 build a month short of 2022 with PCM 6.0 but not the latest version with Android Auto. I am trying to understand if the latest version can be updated onto the 2021 version of 6.0? Still waiting for the dealer to confirm but it’s been 3 weeks since I asked. Can anyone shed some light on this at all? Thanks

I really don't see why this update wouldn't be available on a car which should be upgradable by nature.

Because it's a MY21, I guess. You can check your VIN to be sure which MY you have.
10th position of VIN
M=MY21
N=MY22

the dealer called me now to tell me it will take all night to finish the upgrade ... "it's very heavy" and it's not done yet ????

I guess the real key is to determine when they updated the 2020 MY after release is the 2021. I only hope there is light at the end of the tunnel. I really don't enjoy the iOS interface.
