Anyone else had this? Any bright ideas for extraction given the thing has now fully hidden under the runner?

Anyone lost anything bigger there? Small children? Bananas?

Chewing gum pills is most I've dropped there, and a ring. All retrieved painstakingly one by one with a fork and a screwdriver

I found it is difficult to get things out in the Taycan if you drop them between seat and console.
I would recommend using a sticky tape attached to the end of a flexible stick that you can reach with and catch the pencil with the sticky tape.

Deliberately drop a £50 pound note down the same gap, I guarantee anything less valuable will be quickly found…

Almost did this...tried to use another probe to get it, then nearly lost that.

It's not stopping the seat working so have decided to pretend it's a pencil case :)

I lost a few bits down there over the years, including coins.

After trying various things, I found some extra long cable ties (about 1m long) in the garage. They are perfect.

Was able to push it down from the top and then slide it underneath and along from the rear bottom (sounds like a p0rno)

It's a black hole in there.

Send a small child or ferret down there to rescue...
Child yes, but ferret would be animal cruelty! You haven't seen what my kids put down seat sides (and that despite me banning eating in my car!).
