Persistent audio source selection solved?

I noticed my car has been remembering the last audio source recently when I get into the car. In the past it always went to CarPlay I think. but lately it's been remembering the most recent audio source (FM radio in this case). At first I thought CarPlay was not connecting, which actually turned out to be true, but I then reconnected CarPlay and the car still comes on with FM radio every time I get in, even though CarPlay auto connects fine now. Could it be that Porsche fixed this issue of remembering the last audio source? Did Apple fix something? Or am I just hitting some bug with a desired side effect?

It always remembered for me (android auto) but I only picked the car may 15th so probably had the update from factory already.
