What is the base color of your Taycan? Blackberry?

I've ordered a Jet Black Metallic 4S that I'm expecting to take delivery of in March 2021 and plan to have a Stealth wrap applied for the same effect as yours.

Seeing this pictures makes the 3 month wait for mine seem sooooo long. I love it, it's gorgeous!
Thank you. The base colour is jet black, my interior is blackberry

You know the annoying thing is that I specced no license plate plinth to be installed on it. I was going to go the decal route.

When it came to the handover the salesperson apologised and offered to re-order a new front bumper for me....but it would be into the new year. I just couldn’t wait that long. ?
My dealer told me the front number plinth is fitted at the factory

??‍♂ They apparently can request for the factory not to fix the plinth, according to my dealer.

Then again, since they did, maybe he’s just wrong.

Congratulations to both of you with the satin ppf. I am normally not a fan of Matt PPF but on these colours they look fantastic.

I also came to think about the fact that when doing this with Satin PPF, the detailed needs to make sure the film covers every square millimetre! There just can not be a single piece uncovered that is shiny glossy! That is one of the issues for us that have had it done with glossy PPF. Some of the gaps that have been seen for us would not be acceptable with Satin!

Lesson learned Thank You!

I considered doing Expel Stealth when I had the front of my 4S wrapped in PPF, but I had it on my Tesla and I thought I was "over it". Now I'm seeing these pictures and reconsidering... haha

Photo of my Model S below - I had the logo edges and calipers painted in Porsche Acid Green too as I was dreaming about the Taycan the whole time I had it.

Looks like an amazing spec and excellent job done by NVN. NVN mentioned this job to me when I provisionally booked my new Taycan in for Dec before delivery became delayed.

Had been planning to take the vehicle to James Walker’s NVN London for full PPF but the worsening COVID situation here in the UK makes that unviable.

Can anyone recommend a good PPF detailer here in NW England who specialises in Xpel films and with whom a good experience has been enjoyed?

To add, did you or any owners reading this with the full panoramic roof explore protective film for it? I’ve seen posts online of people attaching protective films to windscreens and seen James talk of protecting windscreens with film, but little on full panoramic glass rooves. Yet, I can imagine the cost and complexity of replacing a damaged / stone chipped roof to be astronomical.

Thank you,

You can speak to them about transportation

im Not sure about protecting it but I was going to tint it but they said it has heat resistance and this may cause cracking issues. they also won’t PPF the headlights

I think part of the issue may be that Xpel, Suntek and other PPF manufacturers refuse to indemnify against film yellowing when adhered to glass, like the roof and headlights. However, given NVN promote windscreen protection film, I’m curious why films for glass rooves aren’t marketed.

This looks 🔥!!!

I'm waiting on my 2023 Taycan to arrive in black and I've been debating if I wanted to add the satin finish with it but this convinced me to go ahead and get it done once it finally arrives.

My interior is the Bordeaux Red though and I'm getting the RS Spyder rims versus the Mission E's. I'm still in the air about what color the calipers should be (Maybe gold or just leave them black until I make up my mind??)

Either way, this is certainly inspiring! Great stuff!
