Plastic swipe things for electric charging port becoming blue

Anyone knows if these can be replaced and what the cost would be? I am assuming warranty doesn’t cover their color

Definitely not. Mine were Jett black until a trip to Italy last year. I’m guessing excess of 45 Celsius temps did it

And they got worse and worse ever since, until now, where the discoloration is visible even from distance

It’s kind of shit that porsche didn’t use a higher quality plastic.

Mine is always garaged also; but it does have 65000km on it

There used to be a product called "Black Again" that would fix up black plastics like this.

I don't know what the modern equivalent would be.

Use sunscreen.
Not the first thing you'll think of but it's kinda logical in that sense.
Highest UV blocker.
It'll moisturize/grease the plastic as well and should bring back (some) color.
