Only answer if you have the optional Thermally & Noise Insulated Glass.

I’ve seen enough posts to motivate me to make a poll and try to get some data.

It definitely seems like I see people without issues have glass roofs. But let’s see what the data says.

Do you not already have your car? What are you trying to figure out? I was a little worried but then learned there's a repeater with the wireless charger. However I didn't end up needing it (and iPhone 12 overheats in that cubby) and the repeater is gone for '22. I have a metal roof.

I do already have my car.

I’m trying to determine if there’s a correlation between the roof type and cell phone issues for people who ordered the optional insulated glass.

Glass roof, no cell phone issues whatsoever (android user, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra normally just sitting in a Brodit proclip with bluetooth connection to the car).

Anybody has updates on whether metal roof + thermal and noise insulated glass is still causing cell phone reception issues? I tried some experiments with a Taycan which had the insulated glass but unfortunately had a glass roof - no issues with cellphone signal and data throughput tests. But I didn't find a Taycan which has metal roof + insulated glass to repeat my experiment. I have configured my 4S with a metal roof and freeze date is in 21 days: http://www.porsche-code.com/PNI6KKL3
