Porsche at the 2022 LA Auto Show - Photo Tour

Headed out to the LA Auto Show yesterday, where Porsche had rented out an entire hall to themselves. Got to see some nice vehicles (although all cars were locked so you nobody got to sit inside anything), including the new 911 Dakar. There was a nice Owner's Lounge as well where they were serving complimentary drinks and snacks. Just had to show your key to get in.

Yeah I know - my point was there is one pic in the whole post from the show on the Taycan (yes two cars in the one pic!).

I only took the one pic, there were just those 2 (maybe 3) Taycans on display, nothing beyond that. I didn't spend much time in that area since I know what a Taycan looks like .

Unfortunately there really wasn't any Taycan or EV related material to speak of other than the vehicles being on display

Pretty sure it was Neptune. Those pro shots look color corrected.

I asked my local dealer about the Dakar waitlist... more out of curiosity in terms of dealer market adjustment, because I don't think I can hang in that MSRP-stratosphere. One of those "if you have to ask..." situations.

I asked my local dealer about the Dakar waitlist...

At 2500 units, it's probably going to be more limited than the GT3RS. I'm thinking more "by invitation only" than "waitlist". Totally useless (but there'll probably be a matching watch). I'm curious what will be next year's "spring" and "fall" "limited" 911 models, respectively.
