I was browsing around My Porsche and went into the Connect store. The first item it lists is Porsche Connect for $339 a year. Lists the "Hey Porsche, Nav, real time traffic etc. Is this included with a new purchase of a Taycan or is this an additional charge?

The Connect app demo shows a car with the trip info, Mileage, alarm setting, ICE car info, tire pressure etc.

Correct me if wrong, I was thinking the Connect App gave us the options to pre-cool the car, unlock, lock, etc. but thought it was part of the car purchase.

I think the car includes 3 free years of connect. At least, that’s what the standard equipment list says.

Thanks JHenson29

Totally agree Fedex77

With what we pay for the car, is this just not an app connected to our car for info (other than the real time traffic and maps?

Am I interpreting it right that after the 3 years no connection via Smartphone is available anymore?

I at least expect to be able to check the battery status and start the climate functions without paying additional for it...

That’s what I was wondering Tim. I never updated the maps in my other cars as my phone had them for free and I typically run Waze.
