Porsche Palooza Trip Report

I had an absolutely glorious drive out, and no problems with Francis Energy chargers:

I got checked into the event and found my (non-air) BNB. It was charming and the hosts gracious but the parking was on a very steep slope and I just felt uneasy parking there. It was putting a lot of faith in my parking brake, I felt, and faith in the other patrons parked in front of me. I guess I was in a weird mood or just a bit homesick but decided to blow off the trip and just drive home.

When I finally got home I discovered I have now joined the pano roof replacement club:

I probably should have stayed, as the only Taycan in attendance I was a shoe-in for the people's choice car show.

I almost got tickets, but I was worried my 911 wouldn’t be out of the shop in time. I was right. It won’t be ready until Monday.

So, did you just drive there, turn around and drive back then?

Wow, that photo is a chip on the roof? It looks like a rock hit?!

Crap - that sucks - has me re-thinking Stek or similar of the Pano roof again! I assume that in this case it means using insurance coverage/deductible too!

Heard it while driving, found it when I got out in the garage at home.

Put it this way...there's a reason the speedo in that pic has been blacked out.

And not just that, it was on cruise! You might be able to just do a repair to prevent further cracking and do the replacement later.
