With the Treefrog Crossbar Roof Carrier Black. I took the risk and it worked. Many faces with frowning eyebrows at the charging locations and while driving. A lot of attention from how this roof box was mounted on the roof. I drove 3800 km (2300 miles) from the Netherlands to the South of France at a speed between 120 km/h (72 miles/h) and 130 km/h (78 miles/h). Without any problem, even the noise and energy consumption with the roof box was not much higher than normal. I chose this system because I was tired of having to buy new roof racks for every new car. And because our second car (Tesla Model 3) also has a glass roof, I can also use this roof box on this car. Expression from the Netherlands: Two birds with one stone.

That looks brilliant. Method of attachment looks very similar to Sea Sucker and I used the Bomber 3 bike carrier on out BMW i3, and that was a roof that was not supposed to take anything either.

The individual sucker pads also doubled up nicely for transporting back the odd piece of driftwood too :)

I hope you didn't accidentally open the hatch like this.

No remote button in the i3 for the hatch thankfully, Certainly got a few odd looks driving back in to the city, but then we did the same with a 10ft Christmas tree later than year.

Absolutely loved the i3, then the i3s. Felt like a proper go cart around city streets
