Because of the virus I got no indoctrination from Porsche on how anything works so it’s a bit confusing.

I live in a warm climate in South Florida the car is garage so do I need to be concerned about preconditioning?
Consumption should be lower if the battery is preconditioned .

You can set the timer based limit in the car, or by using the connect app (which does the same thing remotely).

My old Tesla allowed a setting of charge I. E 75% not based on time , based on desired charge level. This was tesla's attempt to preserve the battery. Does taycan do the same ? Or are we always charging to around 80% to 85%?
Thanks
Jack

Hello All,

<snip>
Do you happen to know how far back the production got due to the factory closure? For example, my build was supposed to begin in early April, but it hasn't gotten started yet. So I'm guessing you're at least 6-8 weeks behind where you thought you'd be.

Secondly, is the production line and shipping expected to be longer than before for supply line and/or shipping delays?

Thanks,
~Ken
