Finally got photos from the track day photographer. The Taycan is pretty (maybe not as pretty as a winged GT3!) I did have enough pace to catch a 718 GT4 in the corners and get a point-by!
Nice pics. Tracking a Turbo at VIR in four weeks on 21" Mission E (Conti all season), hopefully this time on dry pavement. VIR in the Taycan was great on damp pavement last October - couldn't brake harder than what regen could recover so the battery was good for all day, and could only lay down power so fast, so the battery didn't overheat. The all season shoes were probably helpful on damp concrete. I expect them (and the 5100 lbs of heft) to be a limiter on dry pavement. There is a 50 kW DC charger within a mile of VIR. Supposedly it's working. If I can get down to two minutes charging + travel time for every minute on the track, that will work out perfectly. Driving to the charger should make for a good opportunity to cool the brakes a bit.
